Prize « Trophées de la Construction 2016 » – Public building renovation category

B+C architects and the Atelier d’Agostino, associated architect awarded

For the last 15 years the « Trophées de la Construction » reward every the most innovative projects in the construction industry. On the 13 September 2016, B+C architects and the Atelier d’Agostino, associated architect, were chosen from some 208 submitted projects in an award ceremony organized by Batiactu and the SMA group in the presence of Emmanuelle Cosse, minister of Housing and Sustainable Habitat.

Their project of the rehabilitation of the public day-nursery Jules Guesde for the city of Paris has been awarded the prize in the Public building renovation category.

The jury appreciated the “revaluation of a remarkable architectural heritage of the nineteenth century, with a project which brings touches of modernity and comfort of the twenty-first, whilst reducing by half energy consumptions, a magnificent and exemplary project.”
